This is a revised edition of this manual which provides rapid access to diagnosis of diseases of the eye, based on signs and symptoms. It includes comprehensive lists of diagnoses and drugs associated with various ophthalmic disorders, with diagnostic decision tables. The diagnostic decision tables include history, physical signs and laboratory tests which differentiate each possible diagnosis. Diagnostic possibilities are ranked throughout as "R" (rarely), "U" (usually) or "S" (sometimes) to aid in decision making. New to this edition is the inclusion of consultants from each specialty, providing the most up-to-date information, and extensive revisions to the retina, optic nerve and sclera sections.
